Adding RSS feeds from information resources to the Cardiff Portal

Many online databases and journals now provide RSS feeds to help you keep-up-to-date with the latest information published in your subject area. These might include summaries of new publications matching your chosen keywords or tables of contents from the latest issues of your favourite journals.

RSS feeds usually include direct links to the full content available within the database.

The My RSS portlet on the My Page tab of Cardiff Portal is available for you to add your own selection of RSS feeds.

Instructions are provided below for a number of key databases. Advice on managing your RSS feeds, particularly if you wish to set-up several different feeds, is also available.

If the information resource you regularly use is not listed or you require further help with setting up RSS feeds, please contact your subject librarian.
